Christ the King

Sunday Nov 24, 2024

Sunday Nov 24, 2024

The power of Christ's rule is based on truth. And if we live in the Truth, then we will live as sons in the Son and as king in the King.

33rd Sunday of Ordinary Time

Sunday Nov 17, 2024

Sunday Nov 17, 2024

We are in a battle. And in the midst of this spiritual battle, we must unite ourselves to Christ who leads us into battle, who washes us by the blood that gushed forth from His heart, and who strengthens us as His soldiers, because His wounds heals our wounds.

32nd Sunday of Ordinary Time

Sunday Nov 10, 2024

Sunday Nov 10, 2024

We will not be measured by how much money we give, but by how much we kept. We will not be measured by how much of our time and talents we give, but by how we give. We will not be measured by the extent of our goods that we give, but the depth of the love that we give. Because giving even a little, matters much.

31st Sunday of Ordinary Time

Sunday Nov 03, 2024

Sunday Nov 03, 2024

We will only be able to love God when we become conscious of God's love for us. If mortal sin is keeping you from receiving Jesus in Holy Communion, receive God's tender love and mercy from Confession so you can receive the greatest gift of all - God Himself.

All Saints

Friday Nov 01, 2024

Friday Nov 01, 2024

There are saints just like us in heaven who know exactly what we are going through, so look them up, because our great calling, our great joy, and our great hope is to be saints amongst the saints in the halls of heaven.

30th Sunday of Ordinary Time

Sunday Oct 27, 2024

Sunday Oct 27, 2024

Too often, we easily become blind to what God is doing in our lives because we only see the frustrations we encountered, the hurtful things others say, the lack of care from those around us, and our own sins. So let us pray like Bartimaeus: "Master, I want to see" so that we see the kind affirmation a coworker gave us, an insight from our spiritual reading, the joy of a loved one’s presence, and so that we see God's unending love.

29th Sunday of Ordinary Time

Sunday Oct 20, 2024

Sunday Oct 20, 2024

Jesus knows what it is to be tired, exasperated, angry, sad, and troubled because He is true man. We too can unite our stress, pain, and sorrow to Jesus because He is true God and our high priest who never fails to help us, but also because Jesus is true man and He knows what it is to experience it, because we do not have a high priest who is able to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has similarly been tested in every way.

28th Sunday of Ordinary Time

Sunday Oct 13, 2024

Sunday Oct 13, 2024

When God asks us to let go of a sin, addiction, or attachment, He looks at us with such love and He will give us a hundred times more in this life and eternal life in the age to come. And if God does take anything away, it's only because God wants to give you so much more.

27th Sunday of Ordinary Time

Sunday Oct 06, 2024

Sunday Oct 06, 2024

The opposite of addiction is communion. Beginning this month of October, which is the month of the Holy Rosary, begin by praying the Rosary each day with your family, because prayer in the family will help overcome addictions and help us to live in communion with God, with our family, and with each other. The family that prays together, stays together.

Solemnity of the Archangels

Sunday Sep 29, 2024

Sunday Sep 29, 2024

The devil loves to distort the truth and convince us that we are alone of that God won't help us. But God sends us the archangels to strengthen us, to heal us, and to defend us to cast into Satan and all the evil spirits, because there is no one who is like God.
